Rest assured, the high-quality cleanings and dedicated Vancouver team that you know and love aren’t going anywhere. When you bring your pup in to see Coastal Canines in the Lower Mainland, you will see the same smiling faces, get the same ethical teeth-cleaning services and the same superior customer service experience. The care for your pup’s safety and well-being will continue to be at the core of the operation throughout the Lower Mainland.
This decision has not been taken lightly! In 2016, K9 Gentle Dental took a huge leap of faith and expanded permanently to Alberta, where dogs had no access to anesthesia-free teeth cleaning. We left behind an amazing team to continue serving the Lower Mainland doggies, but being so far away made it much harder to offer support to our employees and, sometimes, our customers as well. Since 2020, we have been looking for a local company that shares our ethics, core values, and teeth-cleaning approach. It was incredibly important to me that whoever ended up taking over was worthy of your trust and respect. This has been a long process, and we have worked hard to make the transition smooth and easy for everyone.
Mackenzie, the owner and operator of Coastal Canines, will focus not only on maintaining what is already in place but also on the growth needed to bring her services to more people, doggies and places across the province. She is a passionate advocate for ethical, safe, anesthesia-free teeth cleaning, and we know she will take amazing care of any dog who crosses her path.
